COVID-19 RULES –
Effective April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers no longer require a negative test but must show proof of vaccination for entry into Belize’s airport, land borders or sea ports.
If unable to show proof or if unvaccinated, the traveler must present proof of a negative PCR result taken within 72 hours of arrival or a negative Antigen Rapid test taken within 48 hours of arrival. A test can be administered by the Ministry responsible for health at the airport. If not fully vaccinated and unable to show proof of vaccination, children ages 5 and older will be subjected to SARCoV2 testing for entry into Belize. NO CURFEW. You will no longer have to wear a mask indoors or outdoors in Belize. Anyone who still chooses to wear a mask may do so. Mandatory travel insurance required.
